If you use a mailing list to contact some or all of the users/visitors on your web site on a regular basis, its subscribers are often called mailing list members. They need to join and to express their categorical approval to get automatic email messages. You can include mailing list members manually too, if the application that you use to manage the mailing list permits this. As per the commonly accepted policies, a mailing list member should be able to unsubscribe whenever they want. You, being the mailing list moderator, can also delete members in case they should not get email messages for whatever reason. The messages that each member receives will have just one address in the "To" field, not the addresses of all the members.

Mailing List Members in Hosting

In case you’ve got a hosting with us and you create a mailing list, you’ll be able to administer the mailing list members without any difficulty. You don’t even have to log in to your Hepsia Control Panel, as you can do everything via email from any place. By sending emails with given commands to majordomo@yourdomain.com, you’ll get access to an abundance of features offered by our popular Majordomo mailing list management software application. You can see a thorough list of all existing mailing list members, or if needed – you can include/remove members. If you add a new mailbox, the given user will be informed and will need to verify that they don’t mind being added to the mailing list. Deleting a member is also quite easy – you just have to send an email message to the administrative address associated with the mailing list.

Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers

If you get a semi-dedicated server from us and you set up Internet mailing lists via the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section, you will be able to manage all your mailing list subscribers without any effort. We offer one of the most popular mailing list management software applications called Majordomo. It will allow you to view all your subscribers, to import new or to remove existing ones by sending an email message to the mailing list’s admin address, so you can manage everything without even logging in to your hosting Control Panel. Needless to say, only you, being the mailing list administrator, will be able to accomplish this. New users need to approve their subscription, so the email messages that you send will be legitimate and you won’t need to bother about email messages being reported as spam. We also have a handful of help articles where you can find more information about how to manage the mailing list itself.
