No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Hosting
We guarantee the integrity of the info uploaded in each and every hosting account that is made on our cloud platform since we use the advanced ZFS file system. The latter is the only one which was designed to avert silent data corruption using a unique checksum for each and every file. We will store your information on a large number of NVMe drives which function in a RAID, so identical files will be available on several places concurrently. ZFS checks the digital fingerprint of all of the files on all drives in real time and in case the checksum of any file is different from what it needs to be, the file system replaces that file with a healthy copy from another drive within the RAID. There's no other file system which uses checksums, so it's easy for data to become silently damaged and the bad file to be duplicated on all drives over time, but since that can never happen on a server running ZFS, you will not have to worry about the integrity of your info.
No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Servers
We've avoided any probability of files getting corrupted silently as the servers where your semi-dedicated server account will be created employ a powerful file system named ZFS. Its key advantage over other file systems is that it uses a unique checksum for each and every file - a digital fingerprint that is checked in real time. As we save all content on multiple NVMe drives, ZFS checks if the fingerprint of a file on one drive corresponds to the one on the rest of the drives and the one it has saved. If there is a mismatch, the damaged copy is replaced with a healthy one from one of the other drives and because this happens instantly, there is no chance that a corrupted copy can remain on our hosting servers or that it could be duplicated to the other hard drives in the RAID. None of the other file systems include this type of checks and in addition, even during a file system check after an unexpected electrical power failure, none of them can identify silently corrupted files. In contrast, ZFS will not crash after a blackout and the constant checksum monitoring makes a lenghty file system check unnecessary.
